Job Title: Manager: Cabinet Installation/ Field Services

Positions that report directly to this job: Field Superintendents (FSR), Installers, Service Techs, Warranty Techs, Independent Contracted Labor, Installation Coordinator, Service and Warranty Coordinator
BASIC FUNCTION
Provide general management and direction for field production teams by forecasting labor requirements, efficient and profitable utilization and deployment of labor, material, equipment, direct labor and/or Independent Contractors to provide cabinetry installation projects within the estimated costs, time schedules and quality standards. This position is responsible for implementing company field policy consistent with business strategic goals, translation of the contract documents and the optimum use of field personnel and its support.
OUTPUTS
- Provide general management and direction for field production teams by forecasting labor requirements and efficient and profitable deployment of labor, material, equipment, direct labor and/or Independent contractors to efficiently provide cabinetry installation projects within the estimated costs, time schedules, ILG Installation and Quality standards and Industry Best Practices.
- Construction Labor and Material cost input and research during the design/bid process; coordination of estimating, pricing and project buy-out; establishment of project objectives, completion schedules and field staff requirements; and supervision of close-out activities and warranty upon completion of job.
- Manage general installation operations including use of superintendents, installers, personnel, equipment, material and facilities of the installation operations and service activities on the assigned projects.
- Create and implement technical and field procedures, methods and practices that support the company strategy.
- Other responsibilities include project review and estimates, job cost control, scheduling, reporting, etc.
- Establish and maintain positive Builder relationships
QUANTITATIVE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related studies or progressive Industry experience required
- Minimum of 5 years related experience in a production construction supervisory position
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a cabinet installation environment
