COMMERCIAL FIELD MANAGER – Interior Logic Group

Overview

The primary responsibility of the Commercial Field Manager is to manage flooring, cabinet, and countertop trades on commercial job sites during construction, tracking and managing materials, ensuring quality installations, and providing a high level of service to internal and external customers. These are most typically General Contractors. 

Responsibilities

• Understand flooring, cabinet, and countertop materials as well as how materials are measured and installed
• Manage flooring, cabinet, and countertop independent contractors on commercial construction sites
• Supervise installations and manage material during installations
• Quality control of all flooring, cabinet, and countertop installations
• Coordinate schedules with general contractors, superintendents, and subcontractors
• Assist with the locating and sourcing of specialized subcontract labor for the commercial construction projects
• Assist in warranty resolution in completed units
• Any other field duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience in construction; including flooring, cabinet, and countertops
• Vast Project and Field Management experience in a commercial construction environment working directly for General Contractors
• Must be able to work in fast paced environments
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Organized and process oriented
• Attention to detail
