Industry leading regional builder design Center Company is seeking an energetic residential/commercial Cabinet Field Manager to join our team. Qualified candidates MUST have at least 3 years of related cabinet experience and possess good interpersonal skills. The person must also be able to focus on detail in working with cabinet installers on our jobsites and have the ability to follow and keep a job on schedule. Cabinet experience is a must with a general knowledge of repairs and cabinet functionality.
Under the supervision of the Area Mangers, this position oversees cabinet installs pertinent to each area and in conjunction works with our builder/contractors to handle the day to day issues that may arise. The position also requires measuring homes for fit and finish, completing and excelling in a detailed punch schedule and maintaining good relations with builders and home buyers. Each Manager or Service Tech must have a reliable vehicle which is compensated for use and sufficient cabinet related tools.
Primary Tasks & Responsibilities
- Ability to keep builders schedules and direct teams of cabinet installers to meet home builders expectations
- Ability to repair and finish cabinet component installations
- Ability to use and excel with all cabinet related tools and job site safety
- Ability to use email and all other digital communication in order to communicate with our builders and office staff
- Ability to multitask in order to meet the needs of our customers
- Ability to use and learn cabinet related apps and processes on phones and tablets
Education & Experience
- A High School Diploma or GED required.
- All other education is a plus!
- 3+ years of related cabinet experience preferred.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Mohawk wood finishing certification is a plus!
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of the cabinet business
- Must be proficient in basic cell phone and tablet communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Required to stand and work on a jobsite for long periods of time.
- Lifting and moving of materials are required day to day tasks.
- Work performed on a local jobsite
